This place is amazing with the animals they have, but they are also extremely helpful if you are going through a ruff time and don't have the funds to feed your own fur babies and they were more than welcome to help what they could. My two dogs and my cat and they gave me plenty of food for all 3, more than enough. I could not have asked for something so wonderful it literally put me in tears.
Wonderful shelter to adopt from. I adopted "Stefan" (now known as 'Bud') from them and he has been such a wonderful addition to our family. I would recommend them any day.
Read their website first... you can't just walk in and adopt, you need to apply and make an appointment. As a cat owner for many years, I prefer it this way. Get to know your future kitty first!
We came to visit the cats and were told we were unable to go in any of the cat rooms. While we looked through the glass, unable to pet the cats, we had a staff member one step behind us breathing down our necks. What could we even do since we couldn’t even touch the cats anyway. It was such an unwelcoming environment to adopt a cat in. Then once we left they told us in order to pet the cats, we had to fill out an adoption form and get approved. Cats should be loved and played with, these cats just seemed so lethargic since no one was allowed to visit them. How are these cats supposed to find their forever home in those conditions? The cat rooms themselves were so nice and could easily allow people to visit the cats.
We adopted a dog and are very happy with her . We just love her and she loves us . She wants to learn and is a good dog. She wood alert us if there was a danger at night . The people at the shelter are well trained and help with what you want . The place is clean and they will talk to you about getting a cat or dog . If you go there and don't see a pet you want go back in about a couple of weeks .
People there were extremely kind and knowledgeable. Took their time and answered all my questions. Was very impressed with the care given to the animals
Smelled very unclean were told we had to fill out app then be called for an appointment to see the dogs. Why so they have enough time to clean everything up? Yea something is wrong here
Amazing staff, director and impeccable animal shelter. The love, care and devotion the staff has for the animals in their care is unmatched.
